Nutmeg Orchid Society was organized in 2008 and is affiliated with the American Orchid Society.

NSOS meets 12:30 to 4:30 the first Sunday of the month in Unionville, CT.  Our monthly meetings offer a Show & Tell table, plants for sale, access to a lending library, and well known speakers  from across the United States.

We also offer an annual picnic, an annual orchid show, and other special events that provide opportunities for members to learn about orchids.

Our next meeting is on February 2, 2025 at the Farmington Senior Center.

Kim Fedderson of Fair Orchids will talk about Cool-Growing Orchids.

CAIOS is the first winter show that NSOS will participate in. Contact Sandy Myhalik or Barb Plutko if you can help with setup, take down, of if you have orchids in bloom in time for the Jan. 26 show.
